Kunene Grapes and Citrus Et Al (Proprietary) Limited has applied for about 670 hectares of land in Otjomaungu village in the Epupa Constituency. The allocated land is granted for grape projects. Kunene Grapes and Citrus Et Al (Proprietary) Limited is a wholly owned Namibian company planting and harvesting grapes, citrus and avocados in the North Western part of Namibia.

The renewal, amendment and transferred Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) is required by the Proponent Vibrant Upstream Services (Pty) Ltd for the 2.63 Ha leased land on Farm 38 from the Walvis Bay Municipality for the development of Warehousing and Storage Facilities for Oil and Gas Exploration and Production Support Services. The leased land falls within the Walvis Bay Municipality, Erongo Region. Leased land was previously used as a storage facility for quarrying operations.

Change of the name of the Proponent from Otjiwa Mining and Prospecting CC to Trigon Mining (Namibia) (Pty) Ltd.
The ECC is for an amendment on the existing Langer Heinrich Mine (LHU) Water Supply Scheme. LHU was placed under Care and Maintenance in June 2018 due to the prevailing low uranium price. A pre-feasibility study to restart the mine and Return to Production was completed in June 2020 followed by a valued add study in June 2021. In July 2022 Paladin Energy announced the final investment decision to restart LHU, planned in the first quarter of 2024. According to the Mine Restart Plan, mining and processing is envisioned for a further 17 years - i.e. a Life of Mine (LOM) until 2041.
