The Proponent, Oranto Petroleum Limited, is applying for Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) for the proposed 2D / 3D Seismic Survey operations over the Area of Interest (AOI) covering the Petroleum Exploration License (PEL) No. 106, Blocks 2011B and 2111A, Walvis Basin, Offshore Central Namibia. The proposed 2D / 3D seismic survey operations will be undertaken over limited selected Areas of Interest (AOI) within PEL 106 and in water depth ranging between -1000m and -3000 m.

The ECC is for the rezoning of Erf 1130 Walvis Bay from Single Residential to General Business. The proposed "General Business" zoning will permit a wide range of office and business land uses as primary right. In the long term, the existing buildings will be re-developed into an office/business building. To ensure due diligence and compliance with the Environmental Management Act 07 of 2007 and its Regulations of February 2012, the proponent intends to apply for the new ECC for the continued operation and management of Mowani Mountain Camp.

Vision of Africa was issued with an ECC for the operation of Camp located Kipwe located within the Tweyfelfontien Conservancy in Kunene region. The first ECC was issued was issued on 16 March 2017 and expired in March 2020. The expired ECC was subsequently renewed but also expired again in 2023. To ensure due diligence and compliance with the Environmental Management Act 07 of 2007 and its Regulations of February 2012, the proponent intends to apply for the new ECC for the continued operation and management of Camp Kipwe Lodge.

Massaus and Titan Energy Solutions (Pty) Ltd (herein referred to as Massaus, the proponent), is a Namibian registered and owned company that ventures into capital project development with a focus on green solutions for power generation. Massaus is in the process of obtaining a license / approval from the Electricity Control Board of Namibia, and collaborating with the Dundee Precious Metals Tsumeb (DPMT) to develop a 20 MW Photovoltaic Solar generating plant that will l augment the DPMT's power needs and or feeding the surplus generated energy into the national grid.

This application for an ECC renewal relates to Omuthiya Shell Service Station's intended ongoing activities. Operating a petrol filling station without an ECC is prohibited by the Environmental Management Act 7 of 2007 (Government Notice No. 29). The application is being submitted in order to meet the requirements of the Environmental Management Act (No. 7 of 2007) and its 2012 regulations.
Black Magic Briquettes cc currently operates a briquette production facility, Located on Farm Singbert, Approximately 6 km West of Karibib Town, Erongo Region, Namibia.
