Core Vista Metal Resources (Pty) Ltd (herein referred to as the proponent), is a Namibian registered entity that ventures in minerals exploration and mining. Their aim is to take advantage of the opportunity for self-employment and job creation that exist in the mining sector of Namibia. Core Vista Metal Resources (Pty) Ltd to operate their business activities within their proposed Exclusive Prospecting Licenses (EPL No. 10178) in the Otjozondjupa Region, in in respect to Base and Rare Metals and Precious Metals.
The Walvis Bay Municipality offered Portions 30 to 35 on Farm 58 (east of Walvis Bay town) to Green Metals Refining Namibia (Pty) Ltd (GMRN) for their proposed manganese refinery and sulphuric acid plant project. The proposed Project has the following main components: Refinery: Manganese ore will undergo crushing, grinding, leaching with sulphuric acid, and purification, followed by crystallisation and drying. The process will generate tailings and liquid effluents, requiring proper management.
The purpose of the amendment is to obtain an amended ECC with updated conditions for B2Gold (Pty) Ltd's Otjikoto Gold Mine. Since the granting of the ECC for the Otjikoto Gold Mine, exploration has been undertaken on the existing mining licence, resulting in the discovery of a potential viable resource, the Antelope deposit, at an alternate location within the Mining Licence Boundary (ML169). As such, B2Gold intends to develop additional infrastructure to mine the newly discovered resource using underground mining methods to extract ore at depth.
Penetrated Investment CC, is a fully registered company in Namibia with interest in the prospecting and mining of mineral ore such as Dimension Stone, Base and Rare Metal, Industrial Minerals and Precious Metals. The proposed exploration activities mainly consist of the following prospecting activitiesfocused on operations: - Geological Geological mapping: this mainly entails a desktop review of geological area maps and ground observations. - Lithology geochemical surveys: rock samples shall be collected and taken for trace element analysis.

Wind is the preferred energy source for the production of biofuels, as it, in contrast to solar power, does not require substantial land allocation. The strategy entails the installation of two 4MW units. The SKORPIoN project is proposed to be located along the Namibian coastline in Wlotzkasbaken between Swakopmund and Henties Bay, in close proximity to the Erongo Desalination Plant and conveniently near the Walvis Bay Port. The project is projected to consume a maximum of 1300 kW; however, the majority of this consumption will stem from processes operating continuously, 24/7.
The SKORPIoN project incorporates electrolyzers to produce green hydrogen in the proposed production facility. These electrolyzers are designed for high efficiency and durability, ensuring optimal hydrogen production rates with minimal energy loss. The core process involves splitting desalinated water (H₂O) at about 2cbm per day into hydrogen (H₂) and oxygen (O₂) using electricity. The green hydrogen produced is stored in high-pressure buffer tanks, ensuring a reliable supply for subsequent chemical processes.
The objective is to install a regular 2 MW solar plant, as part of the SKORPIoN project that is proposed to be located along the Namibian coastline in Wlotzkasbaken between Swakopmund and Henties Bay, in close proximity to the Erongo Desalination Plant and conveniently near the Walvis Bay Port. The project is projected to consume a maximum of 1300 kW; however, the majority of this consumption will stem from processes operating continuously, 24/7.
The project proposes to install two (2) 508mm pipelines at a distance of 1.6 km long, to deliver 42,000 cbm of seawater per day to the aquafarm, located along the Namibian coastline in Wlotzkasbaken between Swakopmund and Henties Bay, in close proximity to the Erongo Desalination Plant and conveniently near the Walvis Bay Port. It comprises of 3 pumps each pumping 600 cubic meter per hour.
The objective is to establish a 6-hectare (ha) aquafarm on land situated along the Namibian coastline in Wlozkasbaken between Swakopmund and Henties Bay, in close proximity to the Erongo Desalination Plant and conveniently near the Walvis Bay Port. This initiative seeks to cultivate seaweed in ponds, fed by water pumped from the sea, in raceway ponds or paddlewheel ponds, which are approximately 50 m long, and 10 m wide or 100m long and 10m wide, respectively, with a water depth of 70 cm, excavated into the sand and lined with a specialized white pond liner.
Theopaldt Properties Two cc (TPT-2) is a fully registered, 100% Namibian owned company. Their aim is to provide construction aggregate to the nation’s infrastructure industry in particular for road construction. The TPT-2 business model is based on the supply of high quality sand and gravel to the civil construction, roads, mining, and agricultural sectors. TPT-2 owners have obtained a Sand Harvesting Permits form the relevant authority and were allocated water resources use-rights by the /Khomanin Traditional Authority (see Appendices).
Onganja Mining Company, trading as Quarry Ventures is the holder of a commercial quarrying right to Lease Area No. 1, Swakopmund Townlands 41, by agreement with the Swakopmund Municipality Council. Quarry Ventures also obtained an Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) in August 2022 and this is due to lapse. Therefore, we are submitting an application for the renewal of the ECC in order to remain compliant in terms of the Environmental Management Act No. 7 of 2007 and its Regulations.
