The proponent intends to undertake the exploration activities for base and rare metals, dimension stone, industrial minerals and precious metals targeting raw lithium ore on EPL 7248, Uis District, Dâures Constituency, Erongo Region, Namibia in an environmentally sustainable manner.
Beucorp Trading cc, hereinafter referred to as the “Proponent” intends to establish a stockholding facility for copper ore that has been processed into a powdered form to increase the concentration of the copper content. The material is sourced from suppliers in Zambia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, and Namibia, on trucks with either flatbed trailers or containers. The material is packaged in 1MT bags, similar to the ones used to transport sugar. These bags are then loaded on trucks and send from their origin to the warehouse in Walvis Bay for temporary while waiting for a boat.

BIB Mineral Resources (BIB) has successfully obtained Exclusive Prospecting Licence (EPL) 4524, located approximately 5 km northwest of Uis Settlement, Erongo Region. EPL 4524 is approximately 24 751 Hectares (ha) in size. The land on which the EPL is located, belongs to the Daures Constituency and does not encompass any farm.
The applicant intends to explore the project area through non-invasive and invasive methods to determine if viable mineral deposits exist. It is foreseen that the exploration will include field mapping, surveying, literature review (non-invasive), drilling (invasive), trenching (invasive), Sampling, Analysis, Geological Modelling and Resource Estimation (non-invasive) over a period of an initial period of 3 years. The invasive activities would comprise digging of trenches and drilling of surface boreholes spaced from each other.
The ECC is required by the Proponent with respect to the following proposed minerals exploration activities in the EPL Nos. 8451: (i) Initial desktop exploration activities covering the review of existing information and all previous prospecting activities undertaken in the general area in order identify any potential target/s. The proposed establishment of the 'Huab Under Canvas' Tented Camp for Ultimate Safaris in the Kunene Region. Das namibische Umweltministerium (MEFT) hat öffentlich gemacht, dass am vergangenen Wochenende insgesamt acht Verdächtige wegen Nashornwilderei in zwei Fällen festgenommen wurden. Demnach sollen am 6. April zwei Verdächtige ungesetzlich den EtoschaNationalpark betreten und Nashörner gewildert haben. Laut MEFT wurden sie daraufhin in einer mobilen Straßenkontrolle auf der Straße von Tsumeb nach Otavi festgenommen. Zwei frische Nasenhörner wurde in ihrem Besitz gefunden und von den Behörden, geleitet vom "Blue Rhino Task Team", konfisziert.

The Municipality of Swakopmund has proposed to establish four township developments on portion 161, 162, 163 and 164 of the remainder of Portion B of Swakopmund townlands No.41.
