Ketu Bricks project has been in existence for more than 20 years. The main principle of business is to manufacture block bricks from sand and cement mixture. Bricks are made by means of a semi-mechanize method which include mixing sand and cement with a concrete mixture and molding bricks by means of hand operated molders. Sand is sourced from local dealers with approved sand permits or occasionally obtained from the approved the nearest sand burrow pits belonging to the Uukwambi Traditional Authority.

The ECC is for the operation and management of Van Eck Power Station. The Van Eck Power Station is located at the corner of Allen Street and Hosea Kutako Drive in the Northern Industrial Area, within the institutional boundaries of City of Windhoek Municipality. It is a Coal-Fired Power Station with a total of 4 generating units, each rated at 30 MW. The first two units (Unit 1 and Unit 2) were commissioned in 1972, while Unit 3 was commissioned in 1973 and Unit 4 in 1979. The station is recognizable by its two 103 meters high smokestacks or chimneys.

ECC is for the installation of a new submarine fibre optic cable system that will be landed at Swakopmund. The Equiano Cable System, which will connect Africa with Europe. It will be located along the West Coast of Africa, between Portugal and South Africa. The Environmental Clearance Certificate is required for the continuation of the mining activities at Block 4 (Mining Licence No. 118 and 119) by Fourth Mining Company. The company has been mining precious and semi-precious stones at the same Block since 2002 and wishes to continue mining until their 14th April 2022 as per their Mining Licence validity period and beyond. The Proponent requires authorisation from the Environmental Commissioner for a period of three (3) years.
