Abstract:

The Proposed exploration and subsequent mining activities on the EPL 7720 located about 6.70 km northeast of Karibib in the Erongo Region. An Environmental Assessment (EA) process has to be conducted in accordance with the Regulations (2012) of the Environmental Management Act (7 of 2007) and it will form part of an application for the ECC. Under the Environmental Management Act (7 of 2007), the proposed development entails some listed activities that may not be undertaken without an Environmental Clearance Certificate.
