An ECC was issued in 2019 and expired in October 2022, NamPower seek the renewal of the ECC to include one (1) new project in Oshikoto Region. The area extent in (Ha) covered by all Rural Electrification projects (Existing and new projects combined) constructed by NamPower in Oshikoto is 118 ha.

Continuation of the abstraction of seawater, treatment of the water at the desalination plant for bulk supply of potable water, the discharge of brine back into the sea and associated activities.
