TOV Multipurpose center proposes to establish a poultry farming venture on its Plot 18 of Farm Oerwoud. The ECC is for the operation of 66kV Rehoboth - Blumfelde transmission line. 66kV Rehoboth - Blumfelde line was constructed IN 1996 prior to the commencement of the Environmental Management Act and its regulation, as a result there was no environmental impact assessment study conducted for the project prior to its development. It is therefore against this background that NamPower intends to apply for the operational Environmental Clearance Certificate in order to comply to the Environmental Management Act (Act 7 of 2007) and its regulations.
