Kilembe Mines Mining cc, is a fully registered company in Namibia solely owned by Mr. Elias A. Kyababa with interest in the prospecting and mining of mineral ore such as Dimension Stone, Base and Rare Metal, Industrial Minerals and Precious Metals. As a backup plan, the Project has silent diesel generators in place to generate power in the event of power failure. The proponent, Northern Fuel Distributors CC / Petrosol intends to establish and operate a bulk fuel storage and supply facility on Erf 5206 and 5207, Walvis Bay Extension 14 (Industrial area). The two properties are located adjacent to each other and have a combined measurement of 18,424m². The proponent is a renowned bulk supplier of fuel and already in possession of a wholesale licence from the Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME).
Numerous road upgrades are taking place in and around the town of Rundu - Kavango East Region. The construction of these roads require suitable material for the layer works as well as the surface. Suitable materials are very difficult to obtain in this area of Namibia and the sources are limited. During the site visit the Roads Authority together with the contractor and engineers identified one source suitable. This borrow pit is located approximately 10km south of Rundu and is known as the Ncuma road borrow pit.

This Environmental Management Plan (EMP) is developed as part of the application for the renewal of the Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) for the President’s Links Golf Resort and the adjacent residential area in Walvis Bay, Namibia. The purpose of this application is to revisit the existing EMP, assess its effectiveness, and determine if any modifications or additional measures are required to ensure continued compliance with environmental standards and regulations.
The Elephant Rest Lodge project, as proposed, is situated within a sensitive conservation area, the Sorris-Sorris Conservancy. Such developments have the potential to significantly impact the environment, including: The Elephant Rest Lodge, a proposed 10-room canvas lodge and 10-campsite facility in the Sorris-Sorris Conservancy, requires an Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) before construction and operation. The ECC is necessary to ensure that the project complies with environmental regulations and mitigates any potential negative impacts on the sensitive conservation area.
The applicant intends to continue to explore the project area through non-invasive and invasive methods to determine if viable mineral deposits exist. It is foreseen that the exploration will include field mapping, surveying, literature review (non-invasive), drilling (invasive), trenching (invasive), Sampling, Analysis, Geological Modelling and Resource Estimation (non-invasive) over a period of an initial period of 3 years. The invasive activities would comprise digging of trenches and drilling of surface boreholes spaced from each other.
