ROOTS Development is a project that involves a self-sustaining township development that provides a platform for integration between agriculture, education and other supporting commercial trades in a balanced lifestyle environment. It is located in the Hardap Region in the Village of Stampriet approximately 64 km north-east of Mariental. Stampriet has a current population of about 3 388 people and is considered an oasis in this mostly dry country.
Stampriet is a village located in the Hardap Region of Namibia. It is situated approximately 64 km north-east of Mariental. In order to diversify the local economic development, away from the fluctuating tourism numbers throughout the year, additional developments in the village are required. As with many developments a need for a sufficient supply of housing and related activities also arises.
Mrs. Martha Nashidengo hereinafter referred to as the proponent, is the owner of the two properties Erf 354 & Erf 357, located in Ompumbu Extension 2, Oshakati. The properties are adjacent to each other and both currently zoned "Single Residentials". The owner intends to increase the development potential of the properties by constructing a multipurpose complex on Erf 354 and an accommodation establishment on Erf 357 respectively.
Grow More Trading Erongo cc hereinafter referred to as the proponent, is the owners of the Erf 1211, located in Usab Extension 4, Karibib. The owner intends to purchase a portion of Erf 1307, an adjacent property which is currently zoned Public Open Space with an intention of consolidating it with their property (Erf 1211). To realize the intended development, certain town planning procedures should be applied for the Subdivision of Erf 1307, Closure and subsequent Rezoning of the purchased portion from the current zoning "Single Residential" to "Business".
The proponent, Messrs Schmidtco Property Developers (Pty) Ltd, through Messrs Erongo Consulting Group, the Environmental Assessment Practitioner, is applying for the Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) for this township development project because it is a legal requirement under the Environmental Management Act (EMA) No. 7 of 2007 and the accompanying EIA Regulations (2012) in Namibia. Keetmanshoop town is widely recognized as the Capital of the South and serves as the administrative capital of //Karas region. As such, the town attracting significant interest from the private and public investor from various industries accompanied by a fast-growing population which put pressure on municipal services. The town's economic and population growth have put immense pressure on Municipal services amongst others is the solid waste management.

Salt of good quality has historically been mined at the Cape Cross salt pan since the early 1990s in the form of rock salt and re-crystallized salt. The Cape Cross salt mining area is located about 50km from Henties Bay within the Dorob National Park in Erongo Region. Since, 2009, Cape Cross Namib Investment (Pty) Ltd herein after referred to as proponent, obtained the mineral rights under Mining Licence (ML) 147 to operate Solar Salt mining operations from existing crystallizers (ponds).
Listed activities triggered by the project include: LISTED ACTIVITY EIA SCREENING FINDING WASTE MANAGEMENT, TREATMENT, HANDLING AND DISPOSAL ACTIVITIES (2.1) The construction of facilities for waste sites, treatment of waste and disposal of waste. (2.3) The import, processing, use and recycling, temporary storage, transit or export of waste. - Waste generated will be mainly solid waste and general waste during the exploration phase will be removed by a skip and will be disposed of at the Windhoek Municipal Dump. - A portable toilet will be used during exploration activities.

The overall objective for application of the ECC is to conduct an Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) for the Northeast Hotspot Landscape of the HWC-WC Project, in order to identify potential environmental and social impacts of the project activities; and to identify feasible mitigation measures to be implemented along with the project activities. The ESIA is accompanied with the Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP) , which presents the potential mitigation measures for the environmental and social impacts of the project activities in the landscape.
This application is for the Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) for the Development of a Net Zero Industrial Park: Wind Energy Farm Project at Arandis Townlands, Erongo Region, Namibia. This project is spearheaded by Zero Carbon Namibia and includes a 1GW wind and solar farm, a green hydrogen production facility, a green ammonia/green hydrogen export facility, and a green ammonia production facility. The ECC application is prepared in accordance with the Environmental Management Act (Act No. 7 of 2007) and specifically Regulation No. 29, Section 21.
This application is for the Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) for the Green Hydrogen, Ammonia Production, and Chemical Storage Facility. The ECC is essential for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and promoting sustainable development. The application encompasses several key components: Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA): The ECC process includes conducting a thorough EIA to assess potential environmental impacts, such as effects on air quality, water resources, soil, flora, fauna, and community health.
The ECC is required by the Proponent (Greenfield Fuel Reserve and Energy (Pty) Ltd) with respect to the proposed development and operation of a bulk refined fuel storage facility in Namport North Port Industrial Area, Walvis Bay, Erongo Region. The proposed storage of bulk refined petroleum products is the core business activity of the Proponent and focused on 10ppm and 50ppm diesel, fuel additives, and unleaded fuel and petroleum products (trading and supply).
