The Development Workshop Namibia (DWN) is implementing the Project “Poverty-Oriented Development of Infrastructure in urban areas of Namibia” with financial support from KfW. The project seeks to contribute to more sustainable and inclusive urban development in Namibia by supporting DWN to plan and develop low-cost residential land with titles in 15 towns across Namibia.
Black Magic Briquettes cc currently operates a briquette production facility, Located on Farm Singbert, Approximately 6 km West of Karibib Town, Erongo Region, Namibia. The facility has been operational since 2018; however, in pursuit of good environmental practice and in compliance with Namibian Environmental Legislation, Black Magic Briquettes intends to seek an Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) and conduct its operations in accordance with an approved Environmental Management Plan.
This application for an ECC renewal relates to Omuthiya Shell Service Station's intended ongoing activities. Operating a petrol filling station without an ECC is prohibited by the Environmental Management Act 7 of 2007 (Government Notice No. 29). The application is being submitted in order to meet the requirements of the Environmental Management Act (No. 7 of 2007) and its 2012 regulations.

Vivo Energy Namibia was founded in October 2012 after acquiring Shell’s downstream operations in Namibia. As a Shell Licensee, the company supplies fuel and lubricants to retail and commercial markets, supporting key industries like transport, construction, mining, and agriculture. Since its inception, the retail business has nearly doubled in size, solidifying its position as a market leader. One such retail client is Agra, located at Auas Valley in Windhoek.
Massaus and Titan Energy Solutions (Pty) Ltd (herein referred to as Massaus, the proponent), is a Namibian registered and owned company that ventures into capital project development with a focus on green solutions for power generation. Massaus is in the process of obtaining a license / approval from the Electricity Control Board of Namibia, and collaborating with the Dundee Precious Metals Tsumeb (DPMT) to develop a 20 MW Photovoltaic Solar generating plant that will l augment the DPMT's power needs and or feeding the surplus generated energy into the national grid.

Portia Properties Trust hereinafter referred to as the proponent were allocated to blocks of land on Farm 75 and 76 of Farm Wanderdunen No.23 for the purposed township establishment. The proponent has appointed Stewart Town and Regional Planners to apply to the Walvis Bay Municipality and/or the Ministry of Urban and Rural Development for the approval of the subdivision and township establishment. The applicant intends to continue to mine marble blocks on the mining licence. The applicant intends to quarry dimension stone blocks for building purposes. The area of interest sits predominantly on marble units from the Karibib Formation. The Environmental Regulations procedure (GN 30 of 2012) stipulates that no mining and quarrying activities may be undertaken without an environmental clearance certificate. As such, an environmental clearance certificate must be applied for in accordance with regulation 6 of the 2012 environmental regulations.

The Ministry of Works and Transport proposes to undertake the design, supervision, and administration of the construction of an access road to Oikokola Clinic. Oikokola village is situated in Namibia’s Omusati Region, approximately 90 kilometers northeast of the regional capital, Outapi and approximately 22 kilometers northeast of Okalongo settlement. The community primarily sustains itself through subsistence crop farming and livestock rearing. This road infrastructure project is designed to bolster the socio-economic development of both the local community and the nation at large.
