Mr Günther Heimstädt of The Sports Village Number Thirty Eight CC owns Portion 8 of Farm Langstrand No. 42 (referred to as Portion 8) and plans to establish Ocean Key Hotel. Portion 8 is zoned General Business. In 2023 Mr Heimstädt applied to the Walvis Bay Municipality to purchase a portion (1000m²) of Portion 9 of Farm Langstrand No. 42 (referred to as Portion 9), which is directly adjacent to Portion 8, as additional space for vehicular access to basement parking, an electrical substation as well as a refuse area is needed as part of the Ocean Key development proposals.

The Roads Authority (RA) of Namibia intends to undertake Emergency Road Betterment Works on a 31 km section of District Road DR3472, located between Ndiyona and the Khaudum National Park entrance gate. This intervention is required due to the deteriorated and nearly impassable condition of the road, which provides essential access to schools, clinics, tourism destinations, and rural communities in the Kavango East Region.

The Proponent was granted by the Kunene Communal Landboard a right to undertake tourism operation at a site measuring 19.23 ha in De Riet, Khorixas Constituency, Kunene Region. The Oranjemund Town Council supplies freshwater to the town and surrounding areas with groundwater abstracted from 10 boreholes and 1 x Felhmann well located on the bank of Orange River. The Epukiro POS 3 is small settlement located in Epukiro constituency in Omahake region and has a population of about 2000 people as of 2025. The settlement has a sewage system consisting of pump station and oxidation ponds. However, the existing sewage system is in a poor state, not properly functional and totally overloaded. The poor state of the sewage system is evident from overflow of raw sewage and overgrown vegetation covering the oxidation ponds. The Omaheke Regional Council, in collaboration with relevant authorities, proposes to construct a new oxidation pond.

Oranjemund Town Council has been experiencing difficulties in maintaining their gravel and surfaced road network, primarily due to insufficient funding, which has led to the deterioration of their road infrastructure to a state having potential safety concerns to the road users. Due to a lack of sufficient funding, Oranjemund Town Council approached the Road Fund Administration for funding, which was approved under the MOA Agreement. One of the roads requiring urgent repairs is the road providing access to the Oranjemund Airport, off the MR118 road.
