The renewal of the environmental clearance certificate for the second (60 m) telecommunication tower on the Husab Mine. The Husab Mine required a second radio and cell-phone tower in order to meet communication requirements for the mining department and therefore constructed a 60 m lattice tower near the mining activities. The second telecommunication tower was erected in June 2017, upon acquiring approval in February 2017. Swakop Uranium continues to use the tower for communication. No further activities associated with the tower are planned.

For the operation of a temporary fuel consumer installation facility on portion 8 of farm 67, Kapps farm, Windhoek, Khomas region. The site will constitute of two (2) self bunded above ground fuel tanks with a combined capacity of 126340L (126.34 cubic meters), to use as a temporary storage and source of fuel supply for the road construction project of Windhoek-Hosea Kutako Airport road, but not for public retail purposes.

Gerry's Motors Fuel Retail Facility has been in operation for many years before the EMA Act was promulgated. ECC application is for proposed upgrade activities and continued operations of the existing fuel facility. In order to comply with the requirements of the Environmental Management Act (No. 7 of 2007), and its regulations of 2012.
The portion is to be used for the purpose of residential development and furthermore, there are six houses built on the portion to be incorporated in the development. The public participation meeting already conducted on the 18 October 2019.

Gecko is proposing to apply to the Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME) for a Mining Licence to mine ore (cobalt mineralisation) and process it on site within EPL 4346. The proposed Opuwo Cobalt Project also includes access, water and power supply infrastructure to the mine.
Subsequent to the 2006 Regional Radio Conference in Geneva, the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) intends to migrate from analogue to digital television broadcasting by 17th June 2015. In order to achieve this, NBC inter alia aims to install 44 new antennae with associated infrastructure countrywide. In line with the Environmental Management Act (Act 7 of 2007) a Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) process was followed to determine the scope and content of work to be undertaken at each site.
