The ECC is required for the mining and ongoing exploration operations and supporting linear infrastructures (Powerlines, Water and Roads) for the proposed Mining License (ML) application in Exclusive Prospecting License (EPL) No. 6688, Otjiwarongo District, Otjozondjupa Region. The Proponent (Broadmind Mining (Pty) Ltd) intends to apply for a 44326.91 hectares Mining License (ML) area within the EPL 6688 to undertake rare-earth metals and associated minerals mining, processing (beneficiation) and ongoing exploration activities.

The ECC is required by the Proponent (Eco (Atlantic) Oil and Gas Ltd) with respect to the proposed 2D / 3D Seismic Survey Over the Area of Interest (AOI) covering Petroleum Exploration Licenses (PELs) Nos. 97 (Block 2012A), 98 (Block 2213B), 99 (Blocks 2111B and 2211A), and 100 (Blocks 2211Ba, 2311Aa and 2311Ab), Walvis Basin, Offshore Central Namibia. The following is the summary of the proposed minerals exploration activities: (i) Initial desktop exploration activities covering the review of existing information and all previous prospecting activities undertaken in the general area in order identify any potential target/s.

The amended ECC No. APP 3664 is required by the Proponent (MEL Oil and Gas Exploration (Namibia) (Pty) Ltd with respect to the addition of 1174.32 km long of new seismic survey lines to the already approved 330.84 km long and bringing the total proposed survey lines for PEL 93 to 1505.16 km. During the seismic survey, the generated seismic wave travels into the earth and get reflected by various rock layers of the subsurface formations and returns to the surface where it is recorded by receivers called geophones which are like microphones.

Bohale Investment cc (herein referred to as the Proponent, ), a sister company of BC Stone Products (Namibia) (Pty) Ltd and Best Cheer Investments Namibia) intends to apply to obtain an Environmental Clearance Certificate for the establishment of a second marble quarry within its Dimension Stone mineral right on ML No. 190 totaling an area of 3986 Ha.
