The Proponent is applying for the renewal of the Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) No. 01428 with respect to the proposed minerals exploration / prospecting operations in the Exclusive Prospecting License (EPL) No. 7370 covering the following activities: (i) Initial desktop exploration activities (no fieldwork undertaken). (ii) Regional reconnaissance field-based mapping and sampling activities (Subject to the positive results of (i). (iii) Initial local field-based mapping and sampling activities (Subject to the positive results of (i) and (ii) above), (iv) Detailed local field-based activities such as local geological mapping, geochemical mapping and sampling, trenching and drilling of closely spaced boreholes and bulk sampling (Subject to the positive results of (i) - (iii) above), and. (v) Prefeasibility and feasibility studies (Subject to the positive results of (i) - (iv) above). The scope of the required field-based support and logistical activities will depend on the scale of proposed exploration activities to be undertaken. The proposed exploration activities will be supported by existing tracks and campsites / farmstead as well as existing accommodation in in the area. In the absences of existing tracks, the field team will create such new tracks with the permission of the landowner/s and depending on the scale of exploration. In the absences of existing suitable campsite / farmstead, temporary camp will be setup at suitable locations within the EPL area in line with the EMP provisions. The size of the exploration camp will be of very limited footprints during the exploration phase but may be expanded for the test mining and mine development phases in an event of a discovery of economic minerals resources.
