Wind is the preferred energy source for the production of biofuels, as it, in contrast to solar power, does not require substantial land allocation. The strategy entails the installation of two 4MW units. The SKORPIoN project is proposed to be located along the Namibian coastline in Wlotzkasbaken between Swakopmund and Henties Bay, in close proximity to the Erongo Desalination Plant and conveniently near the Walvis Bay Port. The project is projected to consume a maximum of 1300 kW; however, the majority of this consumption will stem from processes operating continuously, 24/7.

The objective is to establish a 6-hectare (ha) aquafarm on land situated along the Namibian coastline in Wlozkasbaken between Swakopmund and Henties Bay, in close proximity to the Erongo Desalination Plant and conveniently near the Walvis Bay Port. This initiative seeks to cultivate seaweed in ponds, fed by water pumped from the sea, in raceway ponds or paddlewheel ponds, which are approximately 50 m long, and 10 m wide or 100m long and 10m wide, respectively, with a water depth of 70 cm, excavated into the sand and lined with a specialized white pond liner.

The project proposes to install two (2) 508mm pipelines at a distance of 1.6 km long, to deliver 42,000 cbm of seawater per day to the aquafarm, located along the Namibian coastline in Wlotzkasbaken between Swakopmund and Henties Bay, in close proximity to the Erongo Desalination Plant and conveniently near the Walvis Bay Port. It comprises of 3 pumps each pumping 600 cubic meter per hour.

These electrolyzers are designed for high efficiency and durability, ensuring optimal hydrogen production rates with minimal energy loss. The core process involves splitting desalinated water (H₂O) at about 2cbm per day into hydrogen (H₂) and oxygen (O₂) using electricity. The green hydrogen produced is stored in high-pressure buffer tanks, ensuring a reliable supply for subsequent chemical processes.

The facility has been operational since 2018; however, in pursuit of good environmental practice and in compliance with Namibian Environmental Legislation, Black Magic Briquettes intends to seek an Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) and conduct its operations in accordance with an approved Environmental Management Plan.

GAC Investment cc intends on obtaining an Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) for their proposed offshore bunkering operations on Namibian marine waters using a bunker supply vessel equipped for Ship-to-Ship (STS) fuel transfers. The operation will include importing VLSFO and MGO into Namibian ocean waters and performing refueling activities for international commercial & local vessels at anchorage. The fuel will be pumped from the bunker tanker to the client vessels using approved transfer hoses, fenders, and spill response equipment, complying with IMO and MARPOL standards.

The filling station will be marketed and promoted as Sossus Express and will provide services to motorists traveling to and from Sossusvlei - one of Namibia's top tourist destinations.

Namibia Bulk Infrastructure and Grid Solutions, intends on having an Environmental Management Plan (EMP) in place, prior to the commencement of the construction and upgrading of Winnie Mandela Road, located in Windhoek, Namibia. The project area extends from the intersection of Monte Christo Road and Winnie Mandela Road, up to the intersection of C28 (Daan Viljoen Road) and Winnie Mandela Road, covering 6.2 km. Kaoko Green Energy Solutions (Pty) Ltd intends to apply for an Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) for the Subdivision of Wlotzkasbaken Townlands No. 221 into 5 Portions (20 Ha) and the Remainder and Subsequent Rezoning of 5 Portions from "Undeveloped" to "Industrial" and Right of Way Servitude with the aim of developing the associated activities relating to the proposed WaveRoller Pilot Project. The proposed project is located near Wlotzkasbaken, Erongo Region, Namibia.

Right-Path Investments (Pty) Ltd intends on obtaining an extension to their Environmental Clearance Certificate for their car waste battery recycling facility measuring approximately 720 m2, constructed in 2019. However, the operational activities of the factory could not be carried out, due to the Covid-19 pandemic in 2019, which affected business activities on a global scale for a number of years.

The promoter, who is a small scale miner with a long history of mining semi-precious stones (tourmaline) in the Karibib Districts had pegged and registered three mining claims with MME. C38 is the tourist road which starts from the town of Outjo up to the bitumen-surfaced B1 highway just outside Omuthiya, passing through ENP connecting the oldest three resorts of Okaukuejo, Halali and Namutoni (Fig: 3). The rationale to only upgrade C38 is because this road is mostly used by park personnel and service providers and therefore carries a higher percentage of daily traffic in the park. All fuel and food consumed in the park resorts is transported on this route.
