Abstract:

Nicolene Steyn (Mrs) has been granted a letter of intent by the Ministry of Mines and Energy to construct and to operate a new fuel service station and related amenities. The filling station will be construction at the intersection of District Road d854 and tourist route C19, on Portion 1 of Farm Witwater No. 139 situated in the District of Maltahöhe, Hardap Region. The filling station will be marketed and promoted as Sossus Express and will provide services to motorists traveling to and from Sossusvlei - one of Namibia's top tourist destinations. The construction and operation of fuel service station is a listed activity requiring an ECC prior to starting with construction and operation.
