The project proponent is Amajan Investments CC who are proposing to construct and operate a fuel retail outlet and related amenities at the village of Stampriet in the Hardap Region. The proposed fuel service station will comprise of two underground storage tanks with storage capacity of 96 cubic meters - one tank will store diesel while a second one will store unleaded petrol. The infrastructure associated with the fuel retail facility will include but not limited to the following: associated underground pipework; a forecourt with a pump island; a convenience store; a canopy to cover the forecourt area, and adequate parking bays in terms of the environmental management act, an environmental clearance certificate is required prior to starting with the construction and subsequent operation a fuel retail facility.
