Rhombic Night Adder occurs throughout southern Africa.

Average size is  50-60 cm, with large ones up to 75 cm.

They feed mainly on amphibians.

They have a mild cytotoxic venom, they are not considered deadly but some people have lost fingers because of necrosis.
