Damara Tiger Snake

Damara Tiger Snakes are nocturnal snakes that mainly feed on small rodents, lizards, birds and bats.

They are bright orange with black cross bars or blotches. The head is distinctive from the rest of the body and it has large eyes with a vertical pupil.

Mildly venomous, however this snake poses no threat to man.
