Damara Thread Snake

The Damara Thread Snake is a worm snake; these are primitive burrowers and mainly feed on termites and ants.

They can be easily identified by their polished scales, cylindrical bodies, blunt head and short tail. While eyes are present, worm snakes are blind.

They are harmless.
