This monitoring kit is designed to provide you with objective information about the status and quality of your soil. It will work on any rangeland type. You can then use this information to assist your management decisions and to keep long term records. The method makes use of indicators of soil quality, easily observed in the field to generate this information. These observations are not intended to replace the things you monitor now, but add to them in a logical way. The method is compatible with 'Grass Check' assessment, or other forage estimates, on the same sites.
