Pointe Noire Investments CC (The Proponent) applied for an Exclusive Prospecting License (EPL) No.10010 from the Ministry of Industries, Mines and Energy (MIME) on 03 April 2024. The covered area is prospective for Precious Stones, upon which detailed prospecting and exploration activities will be conducted. The tenement is situated offshore near Lüderitz, approximately 157.94 km south of Lüderitz within the //Kharas Region (Figure 1). The EPL area is located within Namibia's Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) and occurs within water depths ranging from approximately 50 metres below sea level (mbsl) to 260 mbsl, covering a total lateral extent of approximately 75,192.535 hectares (ha) (Figure 2).
