In particular to this Scoping Assessment, Beauna Mining (Pty) Ltd envisages to build and operate a Hydrometallurgy Copper Plant near Sesfontein Settlement (about 6km to the east, Figure 1) to aid the process and advance to a point they are able to smelt their own products locally. Hence, the company has identified a land area of ~ 100 (Ha) hectares for which it wishes to obtain a leasehold and therefore the need for, in addition to other legislative requirements they seek to obtain an environmental clearance certificate for the proposed processing plant.
The Kaoko Fria Investment and Partners proposed the development of an Ultra-Modern Cape Fria Port and Atlantic City in different phases starting with Phase 1 which consist of the Township Planning, Sub-Division, Land Servicing and Creation of Streets.
Bohale Investment cc (herein referred to as the Proponent, ), a sister company of BC Stone Products (Namibia) (Pty) Ltd and Best Cheer Investments Namibia) intends to apply to renew its Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC obtained on 19 October 2020) for its proposed Dimension Stone mineral right on ML No. 190 totaling an area of 3986 Ha. While the operation continues, the ECC has expired and thus the proponent wishes to ensure that development activities is still undertaken in an economic, social and environmental sound / sustainable manner.

Hence, Mr. Erich Dennis Petrus has thus applied to obtain a Mining Claims (MCs) license with a particular focus on key portions of the proposed Mining Claims. To enhance potential impact mitigation, the proponent has demarcated and marked a section of the Otjimbingwe Communal Reserve. The MC 73894 is situated in Western Namibia, within the Otjimbingwe Reserve and approximately 10 km North-west of the Otjimbingwe Settlement in the Erongo.
Mr. Romario M. Tjiveze (herein referred to as the proponent) is a registered Namibian company, with vested interest and business ventures in the mining sector. Their objective is to undertake exploration activities in order to obtain data on the presence of minerals for further mining development. Tjiveze seek to operate their mining claim activities on MC 71456 within the Erongo Region, in respect to Semi-Precious Stones and Industrial Mineral.
Mr. Marino Kamuhanga, wishes to venture into the mining sector by undertaking an exploration programme and small-scale mining in respect in respect to Industrial Minerals and Semi-Precious Stone on MC 73824 which extends over 17.87 Hectares are situated in the Erongo Region and approximately 30 km northwest of Usakos Town.
Mr. Moses Haufiku, wishes to venture into the mining sector by undertaking an exploration programme and small-scale mining in respect in respect to Semi-Precious Stones on Mining Claims No. 73826 and 73827 situated in Central-western Namibia, within the Erongo Region.
Mr. Otniel Koujo, wishes to undertaking small-scale mining in respect in respect to Industrial Minerals on his Mining Claim 71621 which extends over 17.56 Hectares and situated in Central-western Namibia, approximately 30 km northwest of Usakos Town, outside any gazetted conservancy.
TradePort Namibia (Pty) Ltd is a registered Namibian company, which ventures in the Import and Export Trade Operations that mainly entails the transportation, handling and storage of manganese and or iron lumpy ore and other materials like gypsum, fertilizer and lime and fuel (diesel and petrol) in bond by utilizing the Trans-Oranje Corridor linking the Port of Lüderitz. They have previously obtained an Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) that is due to expire in May 2023 and now wishes to apply for the renewal of this ECC.
Einekelo Investment cc Investment cc (herein referred to as the proponent), is a fully Namibian registered entity, although with shared ownership between 65% Namibian and 45% Angolan nationals that ventures in minerals exploration and mining. Their aim is to take advantage of the opportunity for self-employment and job creation that exist in the mining sector of Namibia. Einekelo Investment CC seeks to operate their business activities within their two proposed EPLs (8388 and 8389) within the Khomas Regions, in respect to Base and Rare Metals, Industrial Minerals and Precious Metals.
Mr. Erich Dennis Petrus seek to operate their mining claims activities on MCs 73889 - 73894 within the Erongo Region, in respect to Semi-Precious Stones and Industrial Mineral. Principally, the venture intends to explore (desktop geological study, collection of samples and identification of previous activity in the area where industrial minerals mining were conducted) for industrial minerals and intends to mine these on a small-scale basis by use of hand-held equipment and to small degree drilling.
Mr. Sydney H. L. Goagoseb (herein referred to as the proponent), is a Namibia national and who ventures in exploration and mining. Mr. Goagoseb aims at prospecting and eventually developing mining ventures in respect to Industrial Mineral. Hence, Mr. Goagoseb has thus applied to obtain a license for Mining Claims (MCs 73896 - 73899) with a particular focus on a portion of the Base and Rare Metals and Industrial Minerals.
The proposed development of the Otjimbingwe Service Station. The project entails the construction of a standard service station with 4 dispensing pumps (petrol and diesel) with 3 double walled Underground Storage Tanks of 45 cubic meters. The service station will also have a canopy covered forecourt, ablutions, tyre fitment and oil changing facilities, convenience store and street upgrading in order to provide safe access to the proposed service station.
