The project proponent is Amajan Investments CC who are proposing to construct and operate a fuel retail outlet and related amenities at the village of Stampriet in the Hardap Region. The proposed fuel service station will comprise of two underground storage tanks with storage capacity of 96 cubic meters - one tank will store diesel while a second one will store unleaded petrol.
Nicolene Steyn (Mrs) has been granted a letter of intent by the Ministry of Mines and Energy to construct and to operate a new fuel service station and related amenities. The filling station will be construction at the intersection of District Road d854 and tourist route C19, on Portion 1 of Farm Witwater No. 139 situated in the District of Maltahöhe, Hardap Region. The filling station will be marketed and promoted as Sossus Express and will provide services to motorists traveling to and from Sossusvlei - one of Namibia's top tourist destinations.

The promoter, who is a small scale miner with a long history of mining semi-precious stones (tourmaline) in the Karibib Districts had pegged and registered three mining claims with MME. The Mining Claims were registered for semi-precious stones and an ECC has been granted (attached to the bid for easy reference). Given high demand for industrial minerals (lithium, tin and tantalite) and a toll-free processing plant planned to be constructed in the Karibib District, the promoter would like the Mining Commissioner to include industrial minerals included on the mining claim certificate.

C38 is the tourist road which starts from the town of Outjo up to the bitumen-surfaced B1 highway just outside Omuthiya, passing through ENP connecting the oldest three resorts of Okaukuejo, Halali and Namutoni (Fig: 3). The rationale to only upgrade C38 is because this road is mostly used by park personnel and service providers and therefore carries a higher percentage of daily traffic in the park. All fuel and food consumed in the park resorts is transported on this route.

This is an application for the renewal of an Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) granted to Crushco Trading CC (Crushco) for its hard rock quarry (HRQ) business venture on 25 March 2019. The HRQ is located at the village of Kangongo, in the Mukwe Electoral Constituency, about 160 km NE of Rundu in the KER. The HRQ has been a major supplier of high quality aggregates for over forty years. The quarried aggregates are used extensively in road construction and building environments, serving end-users located in urban, peri-urban and rural areas within the KER, KWR and Zambezi region.
