The "Interactive Learning and Action in the Kutsch (ELAK)" project is based in the Kuiseb Ephemeral River Basin, one of the westward flowing ephemeral rivers in Namibia. From up to down stream,freehold tenure- and communal farmers, a national park, and the port and municipality of Walvis Bay all derive water from this source.
