Among other things, the atlas offers a selection of basic data (such as road network, boundaries, etc.) and information on the outcomes of recent projects in the region. Overlay functionalities and cartographic multilayer display makes it easier to grasp complex facts and processes. The ultimate goal is to allow everyone who is interested to access this wealth of information. The atlas is being developed by the CuveWaters Project in co-operation with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), the German Federal Institute for Geosciences and Natural Resources (BGR) and the Namibian Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Forestry (MAWF). It is available in English and German.
