Abstract:

As part of a wider study of Iinear dune dynamics, a series of photographs were taken of a secondary, barchanoid form on a 'complex' linear dune in the Namib Desert at regular intervals over one year from a strategic picket. These photographs show the response of the secondary dune to a seasonal wind regime.
