The map also shows the extent of a propose linear, contigous Namib-Skeleton Coast National Park which will create a massive area under conservation management. This will include the Iona National Park in Angola, the Richtersveld National Park in South Africa, while also linking to the newly established Marine Protected Area off the southern coast of Namibia.
