The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Land Reform (MAFWLR) plans to rehabilitate the Ekoka Road (D3634) which links the Ekoka Village to the main B10 Road between Ohangwena and Kavango West Region. The project is part of the rehabilitation of the irrigation project at Ekoka Village. The environmental assessment aims to assess the potential environmental impacts associated with the road rehabilitation. The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Environmental Management Plan (EMP) will identify potential environmental risks and propose mitigation measures to minimize or eliminate adverse impacts that may arise.
