J. Shilongo Trading CC (hereinafter referred to as the Proponent) has applied to the Ministry of Industries, Mines and Energy (MIME) to be granted an Exclusive Prospecting License (EPL) No. 10100 . The EPL cover an area of 11466.2209 hectares (ha), located about 28 km north of Kalkfeld, in the Otjozondjupa Region as shown in (Figure 1). The EPL overlies farms such as Kendal, Otjikango Ost, Otjikango, Otjikango Nord, Rheiman, Omakune and Nordenberg (Figure 2). The Proponent is interested in exploring for Base and Rare Metals, Dimension Stones, Industrial Minerals, Precious Metals and Semi-Precious Stones.
