Abstract:

Haib Minerals (Pty) Ltd, a Namibian subsidiary of Koryx Copper Inc., is undertaking an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for the proposed Haib Copper Mine located near Noordoewer in the //Kharas Region. In parallel, an EIA is being undertaken for the associated Haib Copper Water Abstraction, Supply and Storage infrastructure to support the mines water demand, to be implemented by NamWater. Given the interrelated nature of these activities, the ESIA processes are being conducted concurrently and are supported by a joint stakeholder engagement process.
