Abstract:

LinX Energy Company (Pty) Ltd is proposing to develop a 20MW Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Plant in the Liselo area, Zambezi Region. The planned development elicits the requirements established in the Environmental Management Act (Act No. 7 of 2007), necessitating the acquisition of an Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) before proceeding with the project. Namib Consulting Services CC has been appointed on behalf of the Proponent to meet the Environmental Management Act (EMA) requirements for submitting an ECC application to the Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism (MEFT).
