Ndashiiva Sakeus Hamutenya (The Proponent) has applied to the Ministry of Environment, Tourism and Forestry (MEFT) to be granted an Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) for the Exclusive Prospecting License (EPL) EPL 10510. Excel Dynamic Solutions (Pty) Ltd (The Consultant) was appointed to act on behalf of the proponent in obtaining the ECC. The EPL is located about 68 km south west of Kamanjab, in Kunene Region. The EPL covers a total surface area of 19,999.5075 hectares (ha), overlaying the following farms: Grootberg No. 191, Estorff No. 600, Tafelberg No. 706, Leeukop No.664, Moria No. 607, Dwars-Trek No. 611, Anker No. 602, Kakatswa Onguati No. 236 and Verpaaie No. 665. The EPL is within the ≠Khoadi-//Hôas Conservancy as shown in (Figure 2). The target commodities for prospecting and exploration are Base and Rare Metals , Dimension Stones , Industrial Minerals, Precious Metalsand Precious Stones.
