Abstract:

Excel Dynamic Solutions (Pty) Ltd (The Consultant) was appointed by Linghang Mining and Investment (Pty) Ltd (The Proponent) to act on their behalf in obtaining the Environmental Clearence Certificate (ECC) for prospecting and exploration activities on Exclusive Prospecting License (EPL) No.10701. The 7663.2338 hectares EPL is located about 44 km north-east of Utuseb in the Arandis constituency, Erongo region (see figure 1). The EPL (center coordinates; -22.982059512, 15.184105562) overlies the Namib – Naukluft Park. The target commodities for prospecting and exploration are Base and Rare metals, Dimension Stone, Industrial Minerals, Nuclear Fuel Minerals, Precious Metals and Semi-Precious Stones.
