Red Enterprises (Pty) Ltd (The Proponent) applied for an Exclusive Prospecting License (EPL) No.10602 from the Ministry of Industries, Mines and Energy (MIME) on 18 October 2024. The EPL cover a surface area of 13941. 0824 hectares (ha) and is located near Helmeringhausen, Hardap Region (Figure 1), and cover (overlies) Farm Kameelhof 116, Kroonhof Wes 154, Kroonof We ptn 1, Spes Bona 62, Klein Haremub 1, Ginas 20 (Figure 2). The commencement of exploration activities on the EPL requires an Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC). The target commodities for this project are Base and Rare Metals, and Precious Metals.
