Enermate Environmental Solutions CC (Hereinafter referred to as the environmental consultant ) has been appointed by Neo Global Minerals Namibia (Pty) Ltd (hereinafter referred to as "the Proponent") to carry out their Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) application for their proposed prospecting and exploration activity on the Exclusive Prospecting Licences (EPLs) No. 9515 and 9519. EPL No. 9515 and 9519 are situated within the Windhoek Rural and Okarukambe Constituencies of the Omaheke Region, Namibia. The licence areas are located east of Windhoek and in the vicinity of the settlements of Seeis and Omitara as shown in Figure 1. The licence area covers a combined area size of 128 790.8105 hectares across portions of several commercial farms. The EPL extend across portions of several commercial farms, including The two EPLs extend across portions of numerous commercial farms and farm portions, including Orubungo Nord, Bergland, Randfeld, Okahau, Ombuerendende, Osroje, Amerongen, Otjihaenena, Okarumba Ost, Okarumba West, Okarumba Süd, Ojumbo Nord, Ojumbo, Otjivero Nord, Otjivero, Safari, Bernshausen, Alter Römer, Gross Bodelshausen, Deutsch Krone, Deutsch Krone Süd, Excelsior, Springbockvley, Muambo, Grossvey-Frahlein, Oupenhamena, Neu Progress, Neu-Bismarck, Seeis, Seelis, Rustig, Fulma, Costa, Dorka, Omitara West, De Hoop, Griessberg as shown in figure 2. The Proponent is interested in the exploration of Base and Rare Metals, Dimension Stone, Industrial Minerals, and Precious Metals as covered under the licence conditions. Prospecting and exploration activities are listed activities under the Environmental Management Act (Act No. 7 of 2007) and the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulations of 2012 and therefore require an Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) before commencement.
