Abstract:

EIA not yet on EIA MEFT Site. Enermate Environmental Solutions CC (Hereinafter referred to as the environmental consultant) has been appointed by Neo Global Minerals Namibia (Pty) Ltd (hereinafter referred to as "the Proponent") to carry out their Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) application for their proposed prospecting and exploration activity on the Exclusive Prospecting Licence (EPL) No. 9461 and 9462. EPL No. 9461 and 9462 is located south of Otjimbingwe in the Khomas region as shown in Figure 1. The licence area covers an area of 14 9580.2909 hectares across portions of several commercial farms. The EPL extends across portions of several commercial farms, including Hureb Suid, Groenkloof, Waterval, Colorado, Khomashoop, Silwerstroom, Amaria, Oas, Heusis, Neuheusis, Landmister, Friedenau, Many Hills, Kaliber, Kaujetupa, Hureb North, Glynberg, Valsdam, Hiradaub, Okamutumbo, Tugab, Tugab-Ost and adjoining farm portions. EPL 9462 extends across portions of farms including Aros, Donkersan, Amor, Bergkrans, Annelie, Kaandam, Harmonie, Freben, Ganams, Abochaibis, Goorogoneib, Hureb Suid, Dagbreek, Uithou, Goneib, Aub, Gurub, Terra Rossa, Bella Vista, Innisfree, Doornkloof, Tsawisis, Kaan, Tsammams, Mooirivier as shown in figure 2.The Proponent is interested in the exploration of Base and Rare Metals, Dimension Stone, Industrial Minerals, and Precious Metals as covered under the licence conditions.
