Abstract:

The proposed exploration activities to be undertaken on Exclusive Prospecting License (EPL) 9441 in the Erongo Region. The primary interest will be to explore base and rare metals, dimension stones, industrial minerals, nuclear fuels, and precious metals minerals group of commodities within the license areas. Under the 2012 Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Regulations of the Environmental Management Act (EMA) (Act No. 7 of 2007), the proposed development is a listed activity that may not be undertaken without an Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC).
