The renewal of the expired Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC No. 00203). The establishment of new townships, including the construction of roads and supporting infrastructure. Compliance with Namibia’s Environmental Management Act and associated regulations The ECC for the township establishment covers the following key activities under the Environmental Management Act: Public Roads and Road Alignment (Section 10.2). Route Determination & Road Design (Section 10.1(b)). Construction of Canals and Channels (Section 8.4). Construction in Watercourses within Flood Lines (Section 8.8). Bulk Supply Pipelines ( Water) (Section 10.1(a)). Electrical Cables and Infrastructure (Section 10.1(f)).
