Abstract:

Renewal Application: Namsnail Farming (Pty) Ltd developed a land-based snail production project on Plot No. 88 in the Swakopmund Townlands, following an approved EIA process and the issuance of an ECC in 2022. Namsnail Farming (Pty) Ltd breeds the common brown garden snail, Cornu aspersum, commercially and for the export market at this location. The current ECC is approaching its expiry date, hence the reason for an application for renewal.
