Abstract:
The ECC is for the operation and maintenance of the existing 132kv Auas - Omaere transmission Line. In 2013 NamPower obtained the Environmental Clearance Certificate for the vegetation management within 132kV Auas - Omaere transmission line. NamPower would therefore like to apply for the renewal of the ECC for 132kV Auas - Omaere line in order to comply with the Environmental Management Act (Act 7 of 2007) and its regulations. This application will be amended to: operation and maintenance of the existing 132kv Auas - Omaere transmission line in order to include all operational and maintenance activities.
