The Solar Facility within the Net Zero Industrial Park, the Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) application is essential for: 1. Establishing a 1GW solar farm as part of the broader project’s clean energy initiative, which aims to produce renewable energy that will support the operations of the park, including hydrogen production and other facilities. 2. Ensuring the sustainable generation of solar power, which will contribute to reducing carbon emissions and support Namibia's green energy transition. 3.
The Locomotive and Wagon Workshop is a key component of the Net Zero Industrial Park project in Arandis Townlands, Namibia. Here’s an overview of what the workshop entails: Purpose Maintenance and Refurbishment: The workshop will be used for maintaining and refurbishing locomotives and wagons, ensuring they are operational and efficient. Hydrogen Conversion: It will also focus on converting locomotives and wagons to hydrogen power, aligning with the project's goal of reducing carbon emissions.
