Abstract:

Mobile Telecommunications Limited (MTC Namibia or the Proponent) proposes to construct a 25m high lattice (free-standing) telecommunication tower on Erf 3973 of Extension 4 in Nkurenkuru Town at these GPS coordinates: -17.645500 18.586111 (Figure 1-1 ). The proposed site is located just near the edge of the Townland boundaries, and about 1km southwest of the Elcin Nkurenkuru High School. The proposed tower site will cover a surface area of about 144m2 (12m by 12m) and host 3x dual-band antennas and 1x microwave dish. The site is internally referred to by MTC Namibia as Nkurenkuru Ex. 4 Site.
