The applicant wishes to apply and obtain an Environmental clearance, this clearance will allow Mining work on the Mining Claim No. 71544. The primary interest will be to seek for dimension stone (Marble) mineral group within the license area. Under the 2012 Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Regulations of the Environmental Management Act (EMA) (Act No. 7 of 2007) the Government has made a list of projects which need an environmental clearance like mining, thermal power plants, infrastructure etc. In order to fulfil the requirements of the EMA and its 2012 EIA Regulations SG Mining CC appointed SS Consultants CC, an independent Environmental Consultant to conduct an Environmental Scoping Assessment (ESA), inclusive of public consultation for the proposed exploration activities on Mining Claim No. 71544 the Erongo Region.
