Under the Environmental Management Act (Act 7 of 2007) section 27 the activity described as "energy distribution, transmission and generation" requires an Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) as it is a listed activity. NamPower would therefore like to apply for the ECC for the operation and maintenance of Seeis - Seeis North and associated infrastructures to comply with the Environmental Management Act (Act 7 of 2007) and its regulations. The Seeis - Seeis North Reticulation route runs north westwards from the Seëis Substation with various supply points including Seëis settlement buildings and farms along the route in the general Seëis North area in Khomas region. The Seëis - Seëis North electrical reticulation system has a total length of 211 km and it is constructed with wooden pole structures.
