Oil Technology Namibia cc hereinafter referred to as the proponent was issued with an ECC for the operation of a Handling and Storage Facility of Waste Oil at Erf 3373, Energy Street, Walvis Bay. The first ECC was issued was issued on 2022-08-12 and is due to expire on 2025-08-12. To ensure due diligence and compliance with the Environmental Management Act 07 of 2007 and its Regulations of February 2012, the proponent intends to apply for the new ECC for the continued operation of a Handling and Temporary Storage Facility of Waste Oil. Green Gain Consultants cc was appointed to conduct an Environmental Audit on the facility, update the EMP to facilitate the renewal of the renewal of the ECC from the Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism (MEFT).
