Under the Environmental Management Act (Act 7 of 2007) section 27 the activity described as "energy distribution, transmission and generation" requires an Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) as it is a listed activity. NamPower would therefore like to apply for the issue ECC for Seeis - Dordabis and associated infrastructures to comply with the Environmental Management Act (Act 7 of 2007) and its regulations. The Seeis - Dordabis electrical reticulation route runs south-westwards from the Seeis Substation via Dordabis to Farms Autabib and Onverwag, with T-Offs servicing various farms and households in Dordabis along the route. The Seeis - Dordabis electrical reticulation system has a total length of 283.2 km and it has towers constructed with wooden pole structures. This ECC includes other infrastructures that are Otjihundu Isolating Station, Stolzenfeld Isolating Station, Arnhem Isolating Station, Constance Isolating Station, Onverwacht Isolating Station, Tara Isolating Station and Autabib Isolating Station.
