The Proponent is interested in conducting exploration activities on EPL 9490 for Base and Rare Metals, Dimension Stone, Industrial Minerals, and Precious Metals. Prospecting and exploration-related activities are among the listed activities that may not be undertaken without an ECC, under the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Regulations, Therefore, to ensure that the proposed activity is compliant with the national environmental legislation, the project Proponent appointed an independent environmental consultant, SS Consultants, to undertake the required Environmental Assessment (EA) process and apply for the ECC on their behalf.
