The ECC is for the rezoning of Erf 1423 from Single Residential to General Business. The proposed "General Business" zoning will permit a wide range of office and business land uses as primary right. In the long term, the existing buildings will be re-developed into an office/business building. In the immediate short term, the owner intend to convert the existing dwelling house into offices with the required on-site parking. No site development plan has been prepared to date. Therefore, the proposed office/business building any other intended future development will be subject to the provisions of the Walvis Bay Zoning Scheme.
